The Bible (Bibliology)
We believe that the bible is the inspired Word of God. We believe that the bible was written by men who were inspired by the Holy Spirit of God. We believe that the bible is infallible and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and instruction in righteousness.
God the Father (Theology Proper)
We believe in the only living and true God. We believe that the Father alone is God and that besides Him there is no other God. We believe that He is the source of all life and that by Him all things exist. We believe that the Father is Omnipotent (all powerful), Omniscient (all knowing), and Omnipresent (everywhere simultaneously). We also believe that God the Father is eternal (uncreated).
Jesus Christ the only Begotten Son (Christology)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. We believe that he was conceived of the Holy Spirit and was born of a virgin. We believe in the total humanity of Jesus Christ. We believe that he lived a sinless life and that he willingly gave his life as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. We believe that he was crucified, buried and on the third day rose again. We believe that Jesus Christ is now seated at the right hand of the Father and will return in the future for his church. We believe that God the Father has given His son Jesus Christ all power in heaven and on earth and that all (God the Father excluded) are under subjection to him.
The Holy Spirit (Pneumatology)
We believe in the Holy Spirit of God. We believe that at the moment of salvation the Holy Spirit indwells the believer and baptizes him into the body of Christ. We believe that by the Holy Spirit each believer is sealed unto the day of redemption. We also believe that God the Father through the Holy Spirit bestows spiritual gifts on every believer.
We believe that God the Father created man in His own image.
We believe that man was created without sin. We believe that Adam sinned through disobedience and that through Adam's sin the human race fell. We believe that every person born thereafter has inherited the sin nature.
We believe salvation is a result of God's grace and mercy. We believe that the Father gave His only begotten son Jesus Christ and that salvation is appropriated through faith in him. We believe that salvation is a gift of God and not of works.
The Church (Ecclesiology)
We believe in the universal Church of Christ which is the body of all believers everywhere irrespective of their affiliation with Christian organizations. We also believe in the local church which is the assembly of believers meeting together for the purpose of worship, prayer, fellowship, and instruction in the word.
We believe in water Baptism. We believe that water baptism is administered by complete immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that baptism is a commandment of the Lord Jesus Christ and that each believer should be baptized in accordance to this commandment. We also believe that though baptism is a commandment, the believer is not saved by baptism (we are saved through grace by faith alone). We believe that through baptism each believer identifies with the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Lord's Supper
We believe in the ordinance of the Lord's Supper (often referred to as Communion). We believe that the Lords supper is a commandment for all believers to observe. We believe that the elements of the Lords supper (the bread & wine) represent the body of Jesus Christ (which was broken for many) and the blood of Jesus Christ (which was shed for many).
Eschatology (Last Things)
We believe in the rapture (catching away) of the church. We believe that the church will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air and that the church with Jesus Christ will return to the earth where we will reign with him. We believe in the Great White Throne Judgment where all will be judged. We believe that the wicked (those that have rejected the gospel of Jesus Christ) will be condemned to the lake of fire and brimstone eternally and that Christians (those who have trusted in Jesus Christ for salvation) will live eternally with God the Father and Jesus Christ. We believe that there will be a new heaven and a new earth and that we will reside in the New Jerusalem which will be on earth. We believe that we will live eternally with God the Father, Jesus Christ, the heavenly host and fellow Christians.
